Tooth-Colored Fillings

Fillings are one of the most routine treatments in restorative dentistry. Here, we offer composite, tooth-colored fillings to restore functionality to your tooth while maintaining its appearance. First, we will use a local anesthetic to numb the area and remove the decay. Once the cavity has been cleaned, we can begin placing your filling. Composite fillings are applied in layers and cured with a special light after each layer. Once your filling has hardened, we will inspect your bite and make any necessary adjustments.

Dental Crowns

If you have a broken or severely decayed tooth, a dental crown may be placed to completely cap it and restore both structure and appearance. The first step is to perform any restorative work and shape the natural tooth to fit the crown. Once this is completed, impressions will be taken and sent off to a lab where your custom crown will be created. After your crown is received, we will inspect its shade and shape then permanently cement it to your natural tooth. Crowns can be made of several different materials, depending on its placement and your budget.

Dental Bridges

For those missing one or more teeth, dental bridges can be placed to complete your smile. Dental bridges are composed of two or more dental crowns with false teeth in between. Your crowns will be permanently attached to the teeth surrounding the gap and the false teeth will fit snugly into the empty space. The process of making a dental bridge is extremely similar to that of a dental crown. Similarly, bridges may be comprised of a variety of materials.

Start-to-Finish Implants

Dental implants serve as the foundation for a variety of tooth replacement methods. These small, titanium or zirconia posts are placed into your jawbone and given time to fuse with the bone itself. Once you’re completely healed, a connective structure called an abutment will be attached and your preferred restoration can be placed. Implants are used to support dental crowns, bridges, and even a full arch of dentures.

Root Canal Therapy

We understand that root canal therapy can seem daunting, but it’s actually extremely common and has a high success rate. Oftentimes, root canal therapy can save your natural tooth from needing a total extraction. First, we will thoroughly numb the area. Then, we carefully clean the decay and infection out of the tooth’s canals and fill them with medication. Finally, we seal the tooth to protect against future infection. All in all, the procedure is very simple and straightforward, and we’ll walk you through the whole thing before we begin to make sure you’re comfortable.

Tooth Extractions

We take a conservative approach to dentistry and will exhaust every other restorative method before recommending a tooth extraction. However, there are certain instances where an extraction is beneficial for your oral health. Our team performs extractions with extreme patience and precision to ensure that your procedure is stress-free from start to finish. Once your extraction is complete, we will send you home with detailed aftercare instructions to guide you through a speedy recovery and get you back to your everyday life in no time.
